A rebrand of a twenty-year-old dance studio management product.
ABOUT• Akada is a family run dance studio management product. The company was in a point of transition. The parents who founded and built the company were stepping away from the company. The new leadership recognized the opportunity to invest in brand.

LOGO • The monogram mark is present across Chris's different collections, so it was clear from the start that he wanted to retain that element. The wordmark represents a simple elegant solution for the Chris Hardy Design brand. It represents the tension between man and machine.

APPROACH • —————————
TYPE & COMPOSITION • The type system is the lionshare of the brand. Chris has a beautiful portfolio of work. It was our goal for the focus to remain there. The type system represents two ideas: precise order and creative expression.
